Welcome to Coastal Cowgirl Tack. By accessing this website or purchasing products from Coastal Cowgirl Tack, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

General Information

Coastal Cowgirl Tack is a consignment business specializing in pre-owned equestrian tack, equipment, and apparel. Inventory is sourced from individual consignors and sold through our website and local pickup services.

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or remove listings at our discretion.

Product Condition and Disclaimer

As a consignment business specializing in pre-owned equestrian equipment, all items are sold in used condition. Buyers are responsible for reviewing item descriptions and photographs prior to purchase.

Coastal Cowgirl Tack is not responsible for manufacturer defects, normal wear, fit, suitability, or performance of used tack and equipment.

While we strive to accurately describe all items, buyers acknowledge that used equipment may show signs of wear, cosmetic imperfections, repairs, modifications, or age-related deterioration.

No warranty, express or implied, is provided on any used item sold through Coastal Cowgirl Tack.

Saddle Fit and Equipment Suitability

The purchaser is solely responsible for determining whether a saddle, bridle, bit, blanket, or other item is appropriate for their horse, rider, or intended use.

Coastal Cowgirl Tack does not guarantee saddle fit, horse comfort, rider comfort, performance, or suitability for any specific purpose.

Local Saddle Trial Program

Certain saddles may be eligible for a Local Saddle Trial Program.

When offered, the full purchase price must be paid prior to the saddle being released for trial.

The saddle trial period begins on the date of pickup and lasts for seven (7) calendar days unless otherwise stated in writing.

To qualify for a refund, the saddle must be returned within the agreed trial period and in the same condition in which it was received.

Coastal Cowgirl Tack documents saddle condition through photographs before release and upon return.

Refunds may be reduced or denied if the saddle shows excessive wear, damage, alterations, missing components, or any condition inconsistent with its original documented condition.

Additional trial terms may apply and will be provided at pickup.

Returns and Refunds

Due to the nature of consignment sales, all sales are final unless specifically covered under an approved Saddle Trial Agreement.

Returns outside of an approved trial program are not accepted.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after inspection and verification of the returned item.

Limitation of Liability

By purchasing and using any product sold by Coastal Cowgirl Tack, the buyer assumes all risks associated with the use of equestrian equipment.

Coastal Cowgirl Tack shall not be liable for any injury, death, property damage, loss, accident, or claim arising from the use, misuse, failure, or condition of any product sold.
