7-Day Local Saddle Trial Program

We understand that finding the right saddle is important for both horse and rider. Select saddles are eligible for Coastal Cowgirl Tack’s 7-Day Local Saddle Trial Program, giving local customers the opportunity to evaluate an eligible saddle before deciding to keep it.

Purchase Required

To participate in the 7-Day Local Saddle Trial Program, the saddle must first be purchased and paid for in full.

The trial provides the purchaser with 7 calendar days from the pickup date to evaluate the saddle. If you decide the saddle isn't the right fit, it may be returned in accordance with the terms below for an approved refund.

Saddle trials are available for local pickup only. Trial saddles cannot be shipped.

How the Trial Works

• The full purchase price is collected at the time of purchase.
• Trial saddles must be picked up in person by appointment.
• The 7-day trial period begins on the date the saddle is picked up.
• You have 7 calendar days to evaluate the saddle.
• If you decide to keep the saddle, no further action is required.
• If you decide not to keep it, the saddle must be returned by appointment within the 7-day trial period.

Saddle Condition & Care

Saddles must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, allowing only reasonable wear associated with a careful saddle trial.

Coastal Cowgirl Tack photographs and documents the condition of each trial saddle before it is released and again upon return.

During the trial, please take reasonable care to protect the saddle from unnecessary scratches, scuffs, stains, water damage, excessive stirrup-leather marks, or other damage.

Saddles that are damaged, altered, missing parts, or returned with excessive wear or other significant condition changes may be subject to a reduced or denied refund, depending on the condition of the saddle.

Returns & Refunds

Returned trial saddles will be inspected before a refund is approved.

Once the saddle has been returned and its condition verified, an approved refund will be issued to the original payment method.

The time required for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Trial Eligibility

Not all saddles are eligible for the 7-Day Local Saddle Trial Program. Trial eligibility will be clearly noted on the individual saddle listing.

Participation in the program is subject to the terms above. By purchasing a saddle under the 7-Day Local Saddle Trial Program, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
